Marijuana Growers Sow Displacement Fears in Denver

Legalizing marijuana in Colorado was supposed to spur economic development. The result has been more nuanced. It has created winners, particularly the “gangapreneurs” who have descended on Denver to grow and sell weed. But legalization has also created losers, including local artists, who have been priced out of industrial spaces by growers looking for space for their crops.
